What: Hear and Say’s annual fundraising and awareness appeal
Why: To raise funds to ensure Hear and Say can continue to provide it’s program for deaf children
Goal: To raise $100,000
Why Butterflies? Because butterflies can’t hear and because, once our children can listen and speak, they emerge from the cocoon of their silent world and fly off into the world of sound.
Theme: “Buy a butterfly and help give a deaf child wings”
Merchandise: Butterfly brooches and other butterfly themed items
Where to buy merchandise: Suncorp, KFC and other selected outlets Queensland wide
About Hear and Say: Hear and Say is an early intervention charity that teaches young children who are deaf or hearing impaired to listen and speak, giving them the opportunity to live their lives in the hearing world and to achieve their potential.
